God tellys were heavy. You needed a crane to shift them
Tell me about it! And that time my boss ~~asked~~ told me to carry a 90’s 24″ computer screen from his car to the exhibition stand we were using. The bloody thing not only had a big screen but the CRT extended back about 24″ too.
Why does this man look like he’s about to enter Valhalla with that CRT?
I bought a Sony Trinitron in the late 90s. It weighed a ton, but it also lasted for 20 years.
I got given a 32″ Philips that had a stand it slotted perfectly into after my step-dad got a flat screen. At the time I lived in an upstairs flat with narrow stairs and hallway, it took two people and a wheelbarrow to get it into the living room.
