    And the Ukraine gets nothing?

    Am I missing something or USA is thinking that the Ukraine is agressor?

  3. The thing about Crimea, actually neither parliament nor president of Ukraine have de jure rights to change borders.

    Because according to constitution it can be decided only at state referendum. And this referendum cannot take place on occupied territories. So maximum that Ukrainian government can propose is to conduct that referendum. And obviously result will be same. Russia wouldn’t let occupied territories under Ukrainian control .

  4. This basically dictates that Ukraine is NOT a sovereign nation in that it cannot make agreements with other nations not have sovereignty over its own lands, seas and skies. It also dictates that Europe should lift sanctions. Europe has vowed that it will not lift sanctions on Russia until Russia hands back all lands it has seized by force and occupies. Where are the reparations for the damages, deaths, injuries, ruined businesses, environmental damage, and long term costs incurred by Ukraine and its allies??? This is a disgraceful process that has to be thrown out completely

    So USA is just caving into a dictatorship that flouts international law and by doing this sends a message that there are rewards for those who want to attack, invade, commit hundreds of thousands of war crimes and seize lands.
