LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar announced that March 2025 marked a record-breaking month for the state’s business revenue, with the office generating $23,758,971.27.

This milestone reflects the highest revenue month on record for the Secretary of State’s Office.

The month saw 9,770 new business formations and 39,913 business renewals, totaling 49,683 filings.

As of March 31, 2025, Nevada boasts 440,008 active registered businesses.

“The Secretary of State’s Office delivered all-time high revenue for March – a true testament to the dedication of our office and across the state to make business easier in Nevada,” said Secretary Aguilar. “The revenue received by our office significantly contributes to the State General Fund and is reinvested directly into our communities – from healthcare, education, infrastructure, and more. The investments into our business licensing processes go right back to the priorities of Nevadans across the board.”

Of the new business formations, 7,730 were Title 7 entities, which include corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs), limited partnerships (LPs), limited liability partnerships (LLPs), limited liability limited partnerships (LLLPs), and business trusts. The remaining 2,040 were non-Title 7 entities, such as sole proprietorships and general partnerships.

Among the renewals, 35,168 were Title 7 entities, while 4,845 were non-Title 7.

The fiscal-year-to-date revenue from business filings stands at $173,552,287.95, underscoring the robust business environment in Nevada.
