Also geekism would depend on the person watchings interests.
I’d put dudley from Yesterzine in mine
Big Clive is not UK. He is in the Isle of Man, which isn’t part of the UK. Hands off *our* geek!
Really like his earrings. All the cool kids will be wearing them this summer.
Tom Scott? Jay Foreman? Geoff Marshall?
So the antics of Photonic induction would have made him a rebel in this sort of company?
I was wondering what Anne Robinson was up to
Look Mum No Computer deserves a mention.
Where the fook is *keefcooks*. His famous long egg is famous
Anyone else miss PhotonicInduction?
Edit: he wasn’t really a geek, more geek-adjacent
I’m a simple man. I see Type-G plug sockets, I upvote.
Ten years ago it would’ve been Ashens, Totalbiscuit and Ahoy
I have NO interest in electronics but I could listen to BigClivedotcom read the phone book.
I’d add Tom Scott, Geoff Marshall, Jay Foreman, Chris Spargo & Auto Shenanigans to this.
Chris from Explaining Computers is very good at what he does. You can see why he is/was a lecturer.
I saw him when I was out for my lunch break, that was back when his channel was fairly unknown. He has a distinct look so hard to mistake from anyone else.
Part of me thinks Stanley the Knife should be above Christopher.
When I first found explaining computers I thought he was taking the piss. He’s not. The GCSE Bite size style was a choice as was the haircut.
Edit
In case it’s not clear, Explaining Computers is a great channel for varying levels of competency with computers and Chris does a really good job. Absolutely love him, despite my first impressions!
Technically, Big Clive isn’t in the UK (although he can pretend to be if he uses the wifi in the Douglas McDonalds).
What’s going on with that flag? Is it AI generated or just supposed to be upside down?
lol I love Big Clive’s “mad wizard” look in that screenshot
If you like BigClivedotcom you’ll like Stez. His channel is…solid.
Is that the guy who lit fanny blambos ass on fire!?
Everyone please go check out Atomic shrimp.
You’ve missed out DIY Perks.
What about JagoHazzard for London and trains?
Filling the void Tom Scott left….
What about Mend it Mark?
DIY Perks in pretty geeky…
Technically, BigCliveDotCom shouldn’t be there because he is NOT UK-based. He’s on the Isle of Man, which is not part of the UK!
Tom Scott mainstream geek
Atomic shrimp
for video games there’s ‘many a true nerd’, and whilst not british nerdcubed lives in the UK. Throw in Ashens and you have my youtube feed.
Lindybeige? Geowizard? Atomic shrimp?
Have you met Auto Shenanigans, this is a man who travels the country looking at the roads and service stations
Do Steve Mould and Matt Parker count, or are they the wrong side of the fine line between geek and nerd? (Yes I know Matt Parker may be technically Aussie but he lives here so that’s close enough)
Then there’s people like Matt Denton and James Bruton who are both
Anne Robinson is a YouTube geek?
Explaining Computers is a pretty good site. If you haven’t seen it then you should definitely go…and…take…a…look.

I’d forgotten that electrical fella in the bottom right, what a legend.
Really good at explaining domestic electrics, too.
You should probably add Techmoan for hifi and home cinema geekery.
Who are they?
Can we class Colin Furze as sufficiently geeky or is he a bit too dynamic?
