2. Imperialist fantasies are exactly what they are. Russia is not a Superpower, not even close. Even the USSR was more projection than fact.

   Russia is a has been wanting to play on the world stage. The only reason they are slightly listened to is nuclear weapons – that literally is their only bargaining power (bar the clearly, obvious, Trump kompromat).

   It’s quite incredible that the one thing Putin feared the most was NATO expansion but, literally by invading a sovereign country, he has stupidly made the NATO border twice as large – genius.

   Let’s not miss the fact that Ukraine, population wise, is 1/3rd of Russia, took on the unholy stockpiles of decades worth of USSR machinery- and are STILL holding them back.

   The fallacy of the almighty Russia has been totally debunked, or completely destroyed in the eyes of the world.

   It’s awful it has taken a tragic amount of brave Ukrainian lives to prove the point.

   What is obvious is Russia can never be trusted. Every word/phrase they have spoken has been cynical and deliberately inaccurate.
