  1. >Some of the more recent protests suggest that civilians, driven to the edge of madness by a year and a half of Israeli bombardment, are losing their fear of Hamas.

It says a lot about the situation in Gaza that people feared Hamas more than they feared Israel until very recently. What the news doesn’t tell you speaks louder than what they do say. Israel kills tens of thousands of Gazans but they feared Hamas more than Israel. Makes you wonder what kinds of things were happening when the cameras were off.

This is why people say you cannot call yourself a supporter of Palestinians if you support Hamas.

  2. A fairly small portion of Gaza’s current population voted for Hamas. The population deserves to have a new chance to choose their government.

But right now the entire population is being punished and genocided for the actions of a dictatorship.

If it’s like the critics say, that Gaza is ruled by fear, then Israel is just slaughtering a scared population to get at their oppressors.
