Where in the name of Jaysus are our Covid antivirals? There’s less than 5,000 does of Paxlovid in the country while the UK has (literally) millions of them. The “government” here really couldn’t give a fuck about the nation’s health

  1. I might understand this wrong, but isn’t it for high risk cases getting “intense” covid 19, so I am not sure how much of a difference it would make anymore..

The present strain of covid 19 is milder and not pushing people into the ICU’s, but the hospital wards before hitting ICU (incld high dependency) are being crippled esp with staff shortages…

So is high risk patients Respiratory, Heart, Cancer or is it the staff, it’s a strange one right now.

Just bring back the masks for a bit to curb the spread.. very unfair on hospitals staff

  2. The EMA only approved it at the end of January. The UK snapped up a huge amount of the available supply before this.

  3. Would that be the same government that put measures in place that consistently ranked Ireland among the most COVID resilient nations on the planet?

  4. Garbage thread. What the hell are you on about OP? Did you manage to totally miss the past two years of covid management from the govt?

tHeY dONt GivE a fUck though right.

  5. The government wants to send our children to wars. They literally hate the people of this country to the point of wanting us dead, starving and homeless.

  6. Ah fuck off, if you aren’t a paid propaganda account, then you should look for a job as one. Might as well get paid

    >”government”

    Absolute gobshite

  7. This stuff is the business. At risk family member (fully vaxxed etc) hospitalised last week with covid. Got the antiviral and was discharged 12 hours later having done a complete 180 on prognosis. Amazed by the turnaround. Up the antivirals!
