  1. In the end of the interview he told the detectives, thanks for doing your job. And yeah they did a very good job by investigating you and found you to be the killer. Great job to all the detectives.

  2. I'm sorry, but if the daughter kept calling and calling– why did she wait SIX OR SEVEN DAYS to ask her brother if he had seen them? She didn't call for a welfare check or anything within those days, either?
Why wasn't she re-assessed tor involvement after they realized Ernie did it?
She didn't have to be present to be involved in the plan. She also benefited financially from their death. Her calling over and over coule be a potential cover story.

Through this whole episode, I kept waiting for them to go back to her, but they didn't. Why did she wait SIX OR SEVEN DAYS? I can't get over that part.

I'm not saying she was "definitely involved." I'm just shocked she wasn't reconsidered as an accomplice for the reasons listed above to know for sure.

  3. Mire than half of these comments are "tWo miNuTeS iN aNd i kNoW iT's tHe bRoThEr." Regular geniuses, I guess. haha
(I knew before I started the video, since his face was the THUMBNAIL.🙄)

  4. that red haired mistress realy cracked me up. and the interviewer was like REALLY GIRL? i lost it HAHAHA

  5. Do you guys ever interview someone and think how stupid and ignorant they are that you just want it to end?

  6. ❤❤ I've waited numerous years to see this episode reappear on 48 hours. The woman who didn't want her name given, talking to Peter van Sant, is a rock star in her actions describing spending a weekend in New Orleans with Ernie! She's a hoot and seems like a great person to know!💯💯🔥🔥 Ernie, himself, made way too many mistakes and it's no secret he was his parents killer…😥😡

  7. Certain "kind" of man only attract to certain "type" of woman. Normally, it does not end well.

  8. Did i miss something about the payment plan on the $616,000 loan his dad gave him? She said it was a 5year loan @ $3850/mo and his best year playing poker was only $100,000

  9. Nothing good can come from an arrogant human. Full of pride, such people can have absolutely no regard for their fellow beings, never mind who they are. There is nothing more satanic. And to think today's society actually demands that all parents raise their children exactly in the same fashion.

  10. The lady in new orleans that went to the hotel room with him and saw how he barricaded his room, and STILL didn't think something was off with him is EXACTLY the type to be murdered by a lunatic for ignoring every single warning sign.

  11. It’s crazy when Men cheat they always cheat down! Ernie’s wife is beautiful and she looks way better than then the older looking blonde side chick! Not to mention the wife gave him a beautiful child as well!🙄

  12. Outcomes like this are only partly due to narcissism. Old school parents. High expectations. Was it constructive criticism or constant disapproval? One of them can lead kids to make unhealthy choices, first as a way to rebel, then as a way to prove mom or dad wrong and say, "see, I succeeded even though you never had faith in me; look how WRONG you were.". Obviously these kids have a completely twisted perception of right and wrong, actually think their actions are justified, and don't live in reality. But I do think parenting style can influence behavior. I think of this as a crime by a narcissistic son who couldn't accept criticism or being thought of as a failure. And he knew he would be thought of as a failure. We have to remember to teach our kids that life isn't always perfect and the going can get tough. But you have family and friends to help you and you've got to have the strength to pick yourself up and start again, no matter how bad things get.

  13. i wish 48 hours could come to my state north carolina robeson county three women was murdered in a week yall can on inside edition three women town lumberton for there family till this day it's unsolved

  14. In my opinion he’s on drugs. He had to be on something to commit such a horrible act. I’m getting addiction vibes, wild eyes, super skinny, acting hyper and jumpy plus exhibiting risky behavior.

  15. Becoming a professional poker on other's money, is not the way to live your life. They literally spoiled him by funding his immoral lifestyle. They bought him a house of $700k, and his father even funded his gambling profession, at this point everything was going south. I think his mother didn't want to support him any further of his life choices, and this cost them their lives. This guy was involved with close to 100 women, I am like WTF, where did he get money to have such kind of lifestyle.
Also, women choosing a gambler as their life partner, man that is worse than anything. Yeah, all those flashy lifestyle are tempting enough, to blind you about your life and life choices.
There is no coming back for him, he had dug his own grave way too deep with greed and hypocrisy in mind. I hope the Ex wife and her son stay away from him, because nothing good will come of him. In fact, he could become a negative influence on the child.
