  1. > “There were moments where I wanted to call them to tell them about things. That is a supernatural impulse. Everyone has parents. Every child has a mom and a dad. And you want to share that with them. And I’ve just accepted that when I have that impulse, I text my Star Trek family.”

The rest of it is worth reading. Which is surprising in our click bait world.

  2. When we become adults we can choose to make a family out of whoever suits us.

  3. I mean I think a lot of us felt parental love from LeVar. 🌈

  4. So wholesome. I love JF and LB.

    I wish I was Levar Burton 😉

  5. In Patrick Stewart’s defense, I don’t think he loved any one on that show until it was almost over. I remember hearing him talk about how he learned a lot about himself and life on TNG. From the stories he told, it was generally the gist of “…and it turned out I was a dick! So I learned not to be a dick about that thing!” but learning that lesson a bunch of times about different things.

  6. “Nana, I just beat Sheldon Cooper in a tournament!”

  7. Everything I’ve heard about Burton just leads me to believe the man is as close to a saint as we can get in Hollywood these days. Big Mr. Rogers energy
