Prince GeorgePrincess Charlotte and Prince Louis are back in the classroom, and Prince William is back at work following their spring break.

The Prince of Wales, 42, stepped out on April 24 to visit an organization mentoring young people in inner London.

Each week, around 400 local young people attend programs, school outreach and youth clubs run by Mentivity, which provides the youth services and safe spaces for the young people of the area in south east London to thrive.

William began his visit to Mentivity House, which opened a year ago, by sitting down with the founders, Sayce Holmes-Lewis and Leon Wright. They told him about how their upbringing on the Aylesbury Estate had inspired the organization’s approach to supporting young people and creating opportunities.

The prince also spent time with some of the young people helped by Mentivity and took part in some of the activities with them. Later, he joined a roundtable chat hosted by entrepreneur Tim Campbell, who triumphed on the British version of The Apprentice.

The discussion with local business leaders centered on the value of apprenticeships, the barriers young people may face when trying to access opportunities and how Mentivity can help them create sustainable employment routes.

It was William’s first public duty since the Easter holiday. During the vacation, he and his wife, Kate Middleton and their three children — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, who turned 7 on April 23 — went skiing in the French Alps and spent much of their time at their country home, Anmer Hall.

It was also there that they hosted an Easter holiday weekend, reportedly with Princess Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.

Prince William also took his eldest son, Prince George, to watch their favorite soccer team, Aston Villa, in Birmingham and in Paris, an exciting outing for the young royal.
