  1. Trump officials are analyzing whether to remove federal protections for national monuments spanning millions of acres in the West, according to two people familiar with the matter and an internal Interior Department document, in order to spur energy development on public lands.

    Interior Department aides are looking at whether to scale back at least six national monuments, said these individuals, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because no final decisions had been made. The list, they added, includes Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni-Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon, Ironwood Forest, Chuckwalla, Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks, Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante — national monuments spread across Arizona, California, New Mexico and Utah.

    Interior Department officials are poring over geological maps to analyze the monuments’ potential for mining and oil production and assess whether to revise their boundaries, one individual said.

    A reporter needs to ask if Trump will guarantee that any oil produced will be 100% for the US,

  3. These fossil fuel dopes should be dropped in the desert and left to experience first hand the power of photons. Photons everywhere just, raining down on them. For free.

    That dry mouth they experience, that’s wind pulling moisture from them. Solar driven winds also…free.

    No dangerous and expensive, digging, drilling, or dumping chemicals in the ground required to extract. Don’t even have to do any spendy geographic surveys. You just, harvest the stuff.

  5. lol..who could have seen this coming? its not like the oil/mining industry threw all sorts of bribe money (oops some were campaign donations, to make the books look legit) at Trump..Now if I was leveraging things, I too would tell the people “I cam considering it”, then open the bidding to different money players and see how much I can get in kickbacks/bribes to put in my proxy accounts…Now I am not a convicted felon, so maybe this is too discreet for Trump particularly now that everything he does is legal? anyhow, it literally doesnt matter. There is Zero anyone can do about it in the system..why you say? cuz the system is working perfectly and provides no true ways for change.
