    Indeed. Appeasement certainly avoids world war… until the harms become intolerable. Hopefully the Kremlin is bluffing, world war would be awful- but appeasement is not a sustainable policy.

    Otherwise there should be no issue whatsoever with peacekeeping forces presence.
