2. Been there and done that. I retired from the government in 2008. We had low performers and non-performers that we couldn't get rid of. One of the many that sticks out in my mind was a person who was hired as a college graduate electronics engineer. The person could not do any of the required engineering. The things he did work on failed. They weren't even fit to be a regular technician. They were in a fairly high pay grade. Instead of terminating the person, they were reassigned to a basic clerical position whose duties were about 6 pay grades below their pay grade. The clerical duties were so minimal that when I stopped in to their office, they were generally surfing the net or sitting idly. They were allowed to stay in that position for several years until they retired. Fortunately more than 10% of the people in the organization were stellar performers.

Try and get media to do stories on this, and promote to people who own these stocks in social media companies to dump their shares of YouTube, Meta and X from their stock portfolios.

22. The complaints that Brian mentions, from the "left" is a great illustration of just how stupid Americans are, even when they aren't conservative. They know so little, understand so little, are so uneducated about history, politics, sociology, social justice, activism, & I could keep going. Of course its always important to be aware of what you know, but its maybe more important to also really understand when you don't know enough about something to rant about it. Its a very small percentage of Americans who are both driven to learn, not recently, but for their entire lives, who have a good understanding of enough interconnected concepts & topics, to really analyze politics & social dynamics to confidently speak about this. And the worst part of this, is just how easy its become for average, ignorant (not dumb, just uninformed), but charismatic or entertaining Americans to create content, & with the rise of social media, & the same facts that average people don't even have the tool to analyze their own opinions & motives, social media & influencers' success has convinced everyone that they are should share their every thought, on every topic in the public discourse.

    And, I was complaining about this when Trump originally ran for Prez, cuz in ever single community group I was in online, you'd see the conservatives ranting their misinformation, but the responses from the non conservatives was just as nasty, just as insulting, & sadly, equally ignorant. Its just loudmouths screaming at each other. A good rule to use for this, should be that if you're not capable of doing what you see someone doing, then assume that you may not be aware enough to complain about it. Could you honestly outwit or out-info Brian or Pete in a conversation about politics? Of course not, so why the hell do you feel confident enough to complain about what smarter, better informed & MORE EXPERIENCED people are doing TO HELP US ALL?
