    at least Quebec is quite wealthy and developed. But that might have more to do with Brits and later Canadian administration doesn’t it.

  16. As much as I like to shit on the colonials, France really wasn’t looking to build up Haiti as much as they wanted to very strongly un-build it. Very successful actually.
