    Democrats return to El Salvador, looking for gay makeup artist thrown into CECOT.

    Andry Romero, a 31-year-old Venezuelan makeup artist was classified as a gang member because he has tattoos that say “mom” and “dad” with crowns. He has been documented to have no history of criminal activity. No one has heard from him since March 14.

    “Everyone is extremely worried about him. We’ve had no proof of life in over a month.”

  7. Most of the men sent to El Salvador were only guilty of wanting a better life in the US. Are some of them dangerous? I don’t know that answer because none of them received due process. All I want is these men to come back to the US and get due process. I also find it strange that the party that says they want more American jobs will ship and pay a foreign country to hold those men. We have prisons in the US, the employees and owners are US citizens, why outsource more jobs?

  8. Forced disappearance is a crime. Everyone involved in this atrocity needs to face severe consequences. If not criminal prosecution, then they should never be able to work in law or government again.

  11. This poor guy. Was afraid of coming to harm in Venezuela for being gay, so he made his way to the US, came in legally with an appointment. While waiting in a facility to hear whether or not his asylum would be approved, he was carried off for a life sentence in El Salvador, even though he committed no crime & did everything right. It’s shameful & I hope they can get him out of there.

  23. Only the trumpiest judge would put such a person charged with a minor offense (in this case a non-fraud immigration violation) in a maximum security prison of any kind – much less to a foreign gulag for an indefinite sentence. They have no humanity.

  24. Wish we could go after everyone who was disappeared and renditioned to an overseas extermination camp; not just the one or two the media cares about. This shouldn’t be okay for anyone.
