London under Nazi bombs in 1940. Kyiv under Russian missiles in 2025. Feel the difference? Exactly — there is none.

  1. There is a huge difference, the US was willing to support the UK (for a price), with munitions and supplies, and soldiers from around the world mobilised to assist, with India alone mobilising 2.5 million volunteer soldiers to aid Britain’s war effort. Professional soldiers and airmen from Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the US and Poland all directly aided the UK in the early stages of the war. Unfortunately, Ukraine is receiving a token support in comparison, with the President of the US actively siding with Putin, and blaming the Ukrainians for Russia’s actions.

  2. It’s almost as if wishing their compatriots to live in the basements came back to them.
