I’m surprised any firm would have taken on someone from a family so out of touch with reality in the first place. One of her siblings was somehow taken on as a substitute religion teacher in my old secondary school and let’s just say, students jokingly insisting he might be gay touched a bit of a nerve. He no longer teaches there.
Edit: Gotta hand it to their parents though. It’s pretty metal to name all your children after characters from Lord of the Rings lore.
Surely not a Burke
with the birth rate of the burkes we can expect to see the entire irish legal system just consisting of their lawsuits for alleged discrimination
Jaysus is this company so inverted that they still live in some oldie worldy boarding school bubble British film comedy from Ealing studios ?
After they posted a video on twitter from outside the courthouse ranting about the case, a woman named Eavan Murray replied with:
“I’ve covered courts for nearly 15 years. I worked in the Central Criminal Court and the Crown Court in Belfast. I have never witnessed anything as horrific as your behaviour in Swinford over the two days. You left a grieving family in tears; you knew that and still continued”
I’m not even scratching the surface here, there was much more information online about the family but its all been removed.
Weird bastards. Sure they look like they spend most of their time riding each other.
Ah, the Burkes. Weapons grade arseholes, the whole lot of them.
Always preaching about their victimhood from just behind their mammy.
Wasn’t there some story about this one locking a fella into an office a couple of weeks ago?
They gave her a pay-off of 70k and she still has the chutzpah to sue them.
“Following dismissal I was subjected to commentary and rumour online,” she said, before an article was published on a UK legal news website about what had happened.
She said the commission would hear evidence that the author of the story had been in contact with Arthur Cox in advance of its publication and that the firm “made no effort to prevent the publication of that article”.
I think that’s a bit of a dick move, one could argue that it was an attempt to discredit her reputation within the industry.
Looks like the salary for a newly qualified solicitor at Arthur Cox is €70k.
Anyone know is the UK legal news website is still available to read?
