SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Four Sioux Falls high schools competed in the 2025 Marmen Energy Weld-off Competition on Thursday at Sioux Falls CTE Academy.
The top schools were determined by the average score of the top 15 students per school.
The winner for the Welding Individual was Theo Tran of Washington High School.
The winner in the Advanced Welding category was William Kattenberg of CTE Academy.
The top program of the Weld-off was Sioux Falls Jefferson High School.
