  4. If I recall correctly for Roasts, comedians always give a heads up to the recipients what kind of jokes will be said about them and nix any topics they don’t want. Lame, I know.

    So I don’t think this strictly a Caitlyn Jenner thing. However, it doesn’t really explain Ann Coulter’s meltdown days after the roast she was on.

  12. Okay, there’s another way to look at this. An actual person died. That person’s family would inevitably have seen the joke performed and everyone cracking up about it. It was only a few years ago.
