    So this claim it was in jest is a lie.

    But then that is the real moral of the story. Trump lies about everything, all the time. 100% of the time. Just like he is lying about negotiating with China, or that Canada has a $200 billion trade surplus with America (it does not), or that Ukraine started the war with Russia (Russia invaded Ukraine not vice versa).

That’s a bold face fucking lie, *lock stock and barrel.* Like many things he said during the campaign it’s becoming obviously that he had no plans what-so-ever other than dismantling the US as we’ve all know it. Was it a perfect system before? No, but it was better than what you’re getting now and in the future. I know there’s protests, but how there isn’t riots and revolt in the streets is beyond me.
