  1. Trump is enabling Putin’s destruction of the US, Europe, and Ukraine.

    I don’t really care about the mechanics of why anymore.

    Mostly I’m just sick of all the gaslighting, lies, and pretending that he isn’t. He is. Full stop. You have to be an utter idiot in denial or with a dark agenda to deny it.

  7. It wasn’t always the case. Russian neutrality proved significant for the victory of the American rebels and they would later fight together as allies in WWII. The optimist in me believes they will fight together again as allies in WWIII, but there were many missteps that lead to an acute deterioration of relations. Rapprochement will be a long and arduous process. It will require concrete actions beyond the mere symbolism of a reset button.

    He’s literally a wolf in sheep’s clothing but he just removed his costume at this point and everyone is just cool with letting the wolf eat them.

    He has shown himself to be evil and is very obviously trying to burn the constitution, ruin the economy, while inflicting as much pain and cruelty as possible.

    He doesn’t want to make America great he wants America to suffer because he is Putin’s puppet, that much has been made very obvious.

    It’s unimaginable that this man is the president of what was once the greatest country on earth. Literally in bed with the enemy in plain sight and yet he still has followers who would go to war for him. Absolutely sad and disgusting.

    His plan is working. He made fools of you. Anyone who supports or watches idly should be ashamed.

  29. And they are succeeding. I once had a conversation with Matt Taibbi–more of an argument really–back in the Trump I era when he was lambasting anyone who said that Trump might be in collusion with Putin.

    I ventured that it was entirely possible and plausible and I didn’t understand why Taibbi was so adamant that it was totally out of the question. His response was to mock the idea by saying something like, “it makes no sense. Why would Putin and Russia put such big bets on a guy like Trump?”

    It makes perfect sense. And the bet paid off handsomely.

  32. Whether or not Trump is acting on direct instructions from Putin, the results are the same.
    The US government is now an authoritarian regime, where a dictator decides what’s legal or not. Freedom is gone. Truth is powerless against Republicans lies.
