WTF Mr Blake told cycling website Road CC that while speed limits don’t apply to cyclists, “you can be done for reckless cycling depending on the cop that spots you. I guess the guy I got didn’t like my bike”.
Great. Let’s do all our potential Olympic boxers for “assault & battery” during sparring while we’re at it.
That’s the guards being cunts there now and I don’t care what anyone says.
His competitors in the triathlon will be shitting themselves if they see this
What…how????? How can you possibly do that? I’d test him for doping!
That is weak shit, I know a triathlete who was caught swimming 15km over the speed limit on a national road
IIT exhibit one why people dislike cyclists
Throw the book at him the prick. 😡
Everyone was up in arms when an e-bike broke that lads leg, imagine the damage that would be done getting clobbered at 60km an hour on a bike.
It highlights how basing rule and regulations around the speed of bikes and scooters is not the way to do it. It should be regulated like cars. Drive the on the road, obey the rules of the road the same as cars, it have hefty penalties because it’s unlicensed, ie a big fine and confiscate the item. Don’t drive on paths, the wrong way down a street etc.
I feel that there should be some form of number plate for anything mechanically propelled, and require it to be registered and only for use by the registered owner, and you should have to do an online safety course to get the registration plates. Fees for registration plates can go to an ‘insurance fund’ to keep all the car drivers happy.
Someone watched Pugwall growing up.
No, he was not. I have no idea where you got that information that he was fined, but it’s completely false.
Nobody is above the law! Respect to Gardai
