thoughts / improvements? or any follow up interesting ideas?

this is much better than my other submission before with clustering labels

  1. I have absolutely no idea what this is trying to convey. But then, I don’t know what a ‘product hunt launch’ is, that might have something to do with it.

  2. Visual looks cool…probably should add some context about what product hunt is (never heard of it until searched it just now), and maybe what you’re trying to convey with the visual (i.e. there are a lot of products around the X category)

  3. Spray some colored dots at random, add a few labels at random… And you get this post.

  4. Is this an art or what? I have no idea what I am looking at.

  5. What do the colours represent, what is the significance of their X and Y positions, and what do different sizes mean?

    Conveying that information might help people understand what it means.

  6. What is this? How are we supposed to make sense of this? This just looks like random colors and random labels…

  7. I have no idea wtf a product hunt is or what this vis is supposed to inform about. All three essentials of a good vis are missing.

    1. Wtf is it about.

    2. Wtf am I looking at in the vis itself.

    3. Why tf should I care.
