Lifestyle icon Martha Stewart has broken her silence on Meghan Markle‘s new Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan. Sitting down for an interview with Access Hollywood about her new show, Yes, Chef!, Stewart first asked the publication whether or not Markle’s show had started (this was back in February; Markle’s show debuted in March). Stewart then revealed she was “curious.”
“I’ll watch an episode and see how she does,” she added.

Stewart was joined in the interview by her Yes, Chef! co-host José Andrés, who sang Markle’s praises for her work in the L.A. wildfire relief efforts. Prince Harry and the As, Ever founder have been working with World Central Kitchen to distribute supplies to those in need. The couple also housed loved ones in their Montecito home amid the fires.
“I love Meghan, that she puts herself out there,” Andrés said. “I [was] just in L.A. and she was showing up, in different places to feed people. Not trying to take attention or anything to herself, on the contrary, but was great that she was there, like many others, front and center. Like one more Angeleno next to people that needed hope and empathy.”

While Yes, Chef! has yet to make its debut, With Love, Meghan has enjoyed a spot on Netflix’s Top 10 Shows Overview list following its highly anticipated premiere on March 4. Netflix has since confirmed that season two has already completed filming and will drop sometime this fall.
With Love, Meghan bills itself as both aspirational and approachable; in a statement announcing the second season, Netflix wrote that “[Markle] and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”
“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks,” the statement continued, “embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.”
