RTVSLO, the Slovenian broadcaster, has announced its commentators for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

The Slovenian public broadcaster has announced its commentators for its coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland. Mojca Mavec is set to provide commentary for its television coverage of the Semi-Finals of TV SLO 2 and the Final on TV SLO 1. Mojca Mavec first commentated on the contest in 2005, with 2025 being the seventh contest she has commentated on.

Radio listeners will be able to follow the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 on Radio Val 202. Coverage of Semi-Final One will be commentated on by Maj Valerij, with Igor Bračič joining Maj for the Grand Final. Radio Val 202 will not broadcast Semi-Final Two.

Klemen will represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland in May 2025 with “How Much Time Do We Have Left.”. He will perform in the first half of the first semi-final on May 13.

Slovenia was one of three countries to join the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. The country qualified through a specially organised selection round called “Kvalifikacija za Millstreet” which was hosted in Slovenia, seven countries competed for three spots in Eurovision 1993. The country has participated in 22 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came in 1995 when Darja Švajger finished 7th scoring a total of 84 points. She is closely followed by Nuša Derenda who finished 7th in the 2001 contest with 70 points.
