Can you imagine if Prince Harry ended up with a Kardashian? Well, one pal certainly wanted it to be that way! Comedian Katherine Ryan revealed to DailyMail that she tried to set up Harry with Kourtney Kardashian way before he even met his future wife, Meghan Markle.
So let’s set the scene: back in 2016, during a party at Jimmy Carr’s home, Ryan was there, alongside Harry’s cousin Princess Beatrice, and Kardashian.
“As soon as I went, in I saw Kourtney Kardashian there with Princess Beatrice. I went straight over to her, because I knew this woman, because I’m so invested in the family and the reality show. And she was so charming and nice to me,” she said. “I said, ‘You need to leave Scott.’ I was right. And she said, ‘Well, how can I do that? He’s in my house right now.’ And I said, ‘Don’t go back to the house – you need to leave Scott.’”

Ryan is referring to Kardashian’s then-boyfriend, Scott Disick, with whom she shared three children with and dated on and off for nine years.
“She was, like, ‘Well, I don’t know, who would I even be with?’ And I was, like, ‘Prince Harry, maybe?’ This was pre-Meghan,” Ryan added. “I said Prince Harry because she was in the UK – two royal families uniting.”

While Harry and Kardashian never became an item, Harry and Meghan did after being set up on a blind date, reportedly by mutual pal Violet von Westenholz in 2016. By April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony. Since then, they’ve welcomed two children together named Prince Archie, born in May 2019, and Princess Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.
And you wanna hear something else? The Sussexes are pretty buddy-buddy with the Kardashians today. Back in 2023, there were talks of them making a cameo on The Kardashians, but that never panned out. However, Harry has been seen hanging out with Kris Jenner’s longtime love Corey Gamble, and Meghan’s mother has also been photographed with the Kardashians.
“It’s no coincidence that the Kardashians all move in the same circles as Meghan’s new circle. It’s just a slam dunk for the two families to team up, but Kris doesn’t want to push too aggressively, too soon,” sources said to Bella Magazine via Mirror in 2023, alluding to how close the families may actually be.
