Finland’s women’s cheerleading team won bronze at the Cheerleading World Championships held in Orlando, Florida.
The competition, staged overnight from Friday to Saturday Finnish time, saw the United States defend their world title. Sweden finished second to take silver, ahead of Finland.
Finland had previously dominated the event, winning four consecutive world titles before the United States reclaimed the top position in 2023.
Since then, Finland has remained consistently among the medallists, taking silver in 2023 and now bronze in 2025.
In the mixed team division, Finland placed seventh.
The same three nations, the United States, Finland, and Sweden, had also shared the podium the previous day in the junior girls’ division, though in a different order. Finland’s junior team won gold, the United States claimed silver, and Sweden earned bronze.
