    If it’s your job to deport people – maybe draw the line at citizen children with cancer.

  8. I don’t understand what’s happening. How can you deport citizens of that country???? What would happen if they walked into the embassy and tell them they need help going home ?? if you deport a citizen, they are stateless at that point ? I just can’t grasp how this is even happening ? They are effectively being banished ???

  24. Can someone clarify the details for me? It sounds like the mother was deported and the child was taken with her. It doesn’t clarify if the child as deported (government saying they have to go) or if the mother was taking the child with her since a mother probably isn’t going to leave her young child behind.

    edit: I looked into it a bit. ICE is claiming that the mother wished to take the child with her when she being deported. What’s a bit more fucked up though is that ICE agents snatched her and her sister up when they went to an immigration office for a scheduled check-in. Basically ICE is snatching up immigrants who are doing the right thing and navigating our bureaucracy.
