Does trump’s Director of National Intelligence (DNI) even provide him a daily brief on world issues. He has no clue a russian general was vaporized.

  1. Let’s be real here, Trump is president, sure, but he’s not interested in the job. They slide executive orders in front of him for him to sign, he makes a spectacle of it, and then he goes golfing. He’s really more of a figurehead to keep the fascist populism going in the US.

  2. Trump spends very little time on actual briefings. It’s commonly known he is not very good at reading anyways. He goes with his “gut”. People around him probably like it because it confers much more power on them.

    It’s a Cheney-Bush situation, but much more drastic.

    He probably does not pass many things he says by is own team either.

  4. All the cabinet members know they need to keep the powerpoint slides really simple with BIG FONTS so the orange clown won’t get bored.

    This is the reason why serious advisors like the orange clown’s first-term National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster (who was an army general with combat experience) was disliked and sidelined after the clown appointed them– the orange clown couldn’t stand those who want to give him the details or try to change his mind with facts.

    So for the second term the orange clown appoints those who he knows will just be yes-men and won’t try to advise him.

  5. That really raises 3 questions.

    1) Does Trump get provided with the intel breif.

    2) Does Trump read it.

    3) Does he remember the contents of the breifing 30 seconds afterwards? He’s as old as Biden was an it’s entirely possible that he’s just as senile.

  6. He stopped reading briefings after they stopped getting a 5yr old to make the drawings

  7. Remember how he during the previous turn had simplified, almost child-like, briefings since he could not stand more complicate information? Yeah, this is why.

  8. He famously doesn’t read the presidential daily briefing
