One soldier films his conscious but heavily injured companion, his face bearing the brutal impact of shrapnel. Amidst the sounds of Ukrainian voices nearby, the recording soldier's words of encouragement and promise of help underscore the deep bond between these fighters. The injured soldier was ultimately evacuated and survived his wounds.

  • (Colombian Soldier ): "Oh friend, little brave one, we're going to get out of this, brother. Everything's okay, morale!"
  • (Injured Soldier, with difficulty): "Y-yeah…"
  • (Colombian Soldier): "I'm not going to leave you stuck here!"
  • (Injured Soldier): "Thanks…"
  • (Someone speaking in Ukrainian nearby)
  • (Colombian Soldier, informing in the video): "Heavy artillery hit our trench."
  • (Colombian Soldier, to the camera, somewhat unintelligibly): "…here I am to answer for my little buddy!"

\* The injured soldier was successfully evacuated and survived.*

  1. Thank god he survived. Thank you for fighting a war you didn’t have to join 🙏

  2. Our civilians printing on 3D printers occlusion eye patches for med kits for such cases, to protect the wound. I hope he already evacuated and receiving help

  3. Thank god that the guys survived (both of them in general), god bless them both 🙏

  4. Speedy recovery, my man. May there be no lasting effects from the hit. Viva Colombia cabrones 💪

  5. I suport Ukraine but, you have to be an idiot to fight a war across the world that you have 0 obligation to help.
He will be a cripple the rest of his life In exchange for nothing…
This has to be pure thrill chasing.

  6. Imagine. All you can do is endure the pain for hours, maybe days, until you can get out of the trench. Crazy…

  7. I hope he recovers quickly and if he chooses to returns to the front soon.

  8. Until I read that he survived I thought he didn’t at the end, he wasn’t moving. Ukraine is definitely a different territory than Columbia, I hope they stay sharp.
