  4. There is no racism to be found here. The guy came at the police with a knife. They shot him. “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.” People can only claim racism if they have some actual reason to believe that a white guy wouldn’t be shot for pulling a knife on the police.

    The headline is designed to generate outrage, but gives no context. 10 black men shot – and how many white, asian, middle eastern, etc? What is the proportion of violent encounters that police have with those groups? Without context, there is no reason to be outraged.

    Of course, writing an informative, analytical article would take effort. Writing a click-bait headline gets lots of attention for zero effort.

    I hate seeing journalists in Switzerland trying to profit by driving wedges between people of different ethnic backgrounds. This “outrage journalism” is being imported from the US, and we can see the results on US society. Let’s not go that way, please…

  5. Sorry dieser Protest ist lächerlich. In Amerika kann ichs verstehen aber hier in der Schweiz NEIN. Mit nem Messer auf Polizisten obwohl sie ihn x mal gewarnt haben. Eh ja. Da spielt die Hautfarbe auch keine Rolle.

I am not saying racism does not exist at all in switzerland (I am sure there are racist people), but stop utilizing these justified things (guy run at the two with a knife, got shot and ran on until he got shot again) to drum up false outrage for a cause, that MIGHT be important (for example people, black and white, leaving the bus during the start of covid when an asian person boarded it).

    i suggest not starting with ‘police brutality’ this is something you first need to proof with something sensible instead of the things you wrote here or the video you showed above.

    Die Polizisten hätten so reagiert egal welche Hautfarbe der Angreifer hatte. Er greift mit einem MESSER an, macht sogar noch weiter nach 2 Schüssen! Hätte er nicht geschossen wäre nun der Polizist tot durch mehrere Messerstiche. Menschen wie du sind Abschaum, du geilst dich auf an fake Rassismus Szenarien. Der Protest ist lächerlich.

  14. They never mention what the person did except say a black person was killed. Experience showed me most of the time he did something to make them shoot him.

    They were shot because they posed an immediate threat to public safety and the police officers. Plain and simple.

    It’s adorable how leftists have so much empathy and compassion for criminals.

    Blue lives matter, full support to the courageous police force who do their utmost to keep society safe.

  16. Armed person charged at retreating police officer, got shot.

    That police officer acted pretty much as perfect as he could have – tried to retreat and deescalate, then slowly escalated up the force pyramid when that didn’t work and he only fired enough shots to stop the threat (instead of dumping the entire magazine into his back like US cops would’ve).
