Meghan Markle is spending the weekend relaxing and doing what she loves best—experimenting in the kitchen. The As Ever founder took to her Instagram stories to share some sweet pictures and videos on Saturday, April 26, that showed a glimpse inside her weekend with daughter Princess Lilibet.
One picture showed a table laid with flowers and vegetables with the text “cozy family weekends.” A video then showed Markle and her daughter looking at a pond filled with fish. Then, a series of videos showed Markle’s preserve making process. “What do we think, Lili?” Markle asked in one video, to which her daughter, who held a wooden spoon, replied, “I think it’s beautiful.”

Markle has had a busy few months. Not only has she dropped her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, she has also launched her long-awaited jam and preserve brand, As Ever—naturally, her products sold out online almost instantaneously. Amidst her busy schedule, however, Markle has also shared a few glimpses into her life in Montecito with Prince Archie and Lilibet. Earlier this month, for instance, she shared a snap of a gift her husband, Prince Harry, brought back from a trip to Ukraine for the family. Last month, she shared a cute picture with her two children in the garden of her home, giving fans one of their first glimpses at Lilibet’s red hair. She also shared a snap of life with her kids to mark the first day of spring. She also included her kids in her Valentine’s Day post in February.

As royal expert Jennie Bond explained in an interview with the Mirror, there is a reason why Markle has been sharing more glimpses into her life with her kids. “They are bound to release pictures of the children,” she said in February. “Otherwise, there’s a real danger that paparazzi will follow them until they get what they want—in the hope that a newspaper or magazine somewhere in the world will buy the pictures.”

Markle has even been including her kids in her business ventures. Earlier this year, a photo of Markle with Lilibet was used as part of As Ever’s launch. She also took inspiration from her daughter’s name for a dessert recipe—Chantilly Lily—published in The New York Times in April. In fact, Lilibet apparently makes the occasional appearance in her mom’s business meetings. “I don’t leave the house to go to an office—my office is here,” said Markle in the premiere episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder with Meghan. “Lili still naps, she gets picked up early and she naps, she only has a half day in preschool. If she wakes up and she wants to find me, she knows where to find me, even if my door is closed to the office. She’ll be sitting there on my lap during one of these meetings with a grid of all the executives.”
