The Red Sea, already a haven for luxurious and breathtaking resorts, is set to welcome its latest gem:
Ammos Resort AMAALA. This highly anticipated addition, developed in partnership with Red Sea Global, marks the first international venture for Greece’s iconic Nammos Hotels & Resorts, bringing the vibrant elegance of Mykonos to Saudi Arabia’s pristine coastline.
Located in the Triple Bay area of the AMAALA destination, Nammos Resort AMAALA will feature 110 ocean-view rooms and 20 exclusive branded residences overlooking the AMAALA Marina and Corallium Marine Life Institute. Designed by renowned architects Foster + Partners, the resort seamlessly blends Mykonian and Hijazi aesthetics. The exterior draws inspiration from traditional Hijazi architecture, while the interiors, crafted by Lazaro Rosa Violan Studio and Elastic Architects, evoke the timeless Cycladic charm of Mykonos with terrazzo flooring, textured walls, archways, and a palette of aquamarine, white, and gold.
The resort promises a world-class experience with an array of premium amenities. Guests can unwind at a luxurious spa, stay active in a state-of-the-art fitness center, or enjoy family-friendly activities at the children’s club. Dining options are equally impressive, offering something for every palate. The Horizon Bar boasts stunning Red Sea sunset views, while Nalu Restaurant fuses Latin American and Asian flavors beside cascading pools leading to the main beach. Omnia Restaurant will showcase a rotating lineup of guest chefs, and the signature Nammos Restaurant AMAALA, located on the exclusive Hijaz Island, is accessible only by boat. This beachfront haven features private cabanas and an infinity pool that appears to merge with the Red Sea, creating an unparalleled sense of exclusivity.
While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, Nammos Resort AMAALA is expected to welcome its first guests in 2025, joining eight luxury resorts in AMAALA’s first-phase masterplan. As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, this development underscores the Kingdom’s ambition to redefine global luxury tourism with sustainable, regenerative destinations.
