During a meeting with Norwegian officials on Thursday, US President Donald Trump said he wanted to end the war in Ukraine “very quickly”, and that the upcoming week is vital, with “important” meetings scheduled. Trump earlier posted on his Truth social media platform that he was “very unhappy” following one of Russia’s deadliest attacks on Kyiv since the start of the war, adding “Vladimir, STOP!”.

Trump is a joke. He won't acheive anything in stopping this war – it's nothing but empty pompous bluff – and the war will certainly continue. With follage now providing cover and dry ground the next five months will see very fierce fighting. It's all down to Europe if Ukraine will stand – we knew that since 20 January.
