  1. Maybe she should remember the last Hammarskjöld the USA did not like. 🙄 – But more seriously, the court unfortunately has already played out its role after the European members just folded under pressure.

  2. We are seeing the death of the UN in real time.

    They got too bloated and too political and turned themselves into a League of Nations. Never would have thought I’d see them fall so fast tbh.

  3. So far just Palestine has given its oral proceedings while Egypt is currently in the midst of giving theirs as I write this.

    It’ll be intriguing to see what each nation argues/claims and I’ll definitely be following it over the next few days.

    I think there’s very little doubt the Court’s Advisory Opinion will favor the Israeli position, but there’s also very little doubt that Israel will just simply not comply.
