Alice Raeburn enjoyed a surprise Easter lunch to mark the milestone with family, friends and neighbours.

During the event, the Auchterderran church choir performed some Easter hymns as well as some old favourites.

Alice and late husband George had four children, George, Alison, Nan and John, and later enjoyed the arrival of six grandchildren as well as six great-grandchildren.

Her grandson, who lives in America, also made the long trip back to Scotland to celebrate.

Alice still keeps the family entertained with her bright and fiercely independent spirit, and tales from her long life and travels, including living through the Second World War.

As well as an array of cards, flowers and gifts, Alice was delighted to receive a special card from King Charles and Queen Camilla for her 100th birthday.
