  1. According to Spiegel, a russian diplomat has been found dead on the sidewalk in front of the russian embassy in Berlin on 19 OCT 2021. The 35-year-old apparently jumped out of the upper level of the embassy building. The man was listed as second embassy secretary, german intelligence considered him to be a russian spy with connections to the second division of Russian FSB. The Russian embassy spoke of a *tragic acciden*t and refused to comment for *ethical reasons*.

Edit: The Russians didn’t allow for an autopsy

  2. The guy was an FSB agent, and the Russians wouldn’t allow an autopsy. They snatched the body and already flew it back to Moscow.

The 35-year-old victim was related to another FSB agent in the department that carries out Kremlin-ordered murders + poisonings across Europe

Russian press says “fell out a window” and it was a “tragic accident”

Nothing to see here, move along komrades

  3. Russians get mad at people memeing windows, because they are tragic accidents. Gets harder and harder to call them accidents even for Russians.

  4. As was predicted, when they ran out of “foreign agents” and “spies” to kill and torture they turned on themselves.

Schulman was right about this system having no plan and no strategy – just desperately trying to survive.

  5. a grim reminder that the serbian intel service(the one descended from tito’s service, not our original royal service) learn everything it knows from soviet kgb. it’s the exact same modus operandi. terrifying. and those guys still run and control everything in this country.

  6. Thank god they got they Pee Pee tape from this corpse.
The good news is ya max out at – 15. Y’all a little short. The Russian Hack of the GOP servers and 4th July meetings in Russia spell it out. But if the downvotes give you relief then by all means.

  7. Is there other reason than hiding evidence to snatch a dead human who fell out of your window? No I don’t think so.

  8. Wow, this is sloppy even by the standards of Russian assassinations.

According to the embassy, he committed suicide by jumping from a 4-storey building. His name was Kirill Zhalo, and German security services considered him to be an unregistered intelligence officer (or, more simply, a spy).

He is said to be the son of an FSB leutenant-general Alexei Zhalo, whose division may be responsible for targeted assassinations of journalists and opposition activists in Russia.

  9. Lmao. “Connection to Russian FSB”
Idiots, to become a diplomat in Russia you need to study in FSB university by law, I guess that counts as some “connection”
You can hate in Russia all you want, just be sure to learn a bit about Russia before you do so

  10. There was always a mystery about death of Jan Masaryk who fell from a window of his ministry. When the historians started to examine it deeper after 1990 one of the plausible theories was he was “helped” by NKVD guys (he was a son of the popular first president so quite influential) but after that time the evidence was weaker. I think the last five years showed us it is a typical modus operandi and we can be quite sure how that happened.

  11. John Le Carré totally has no reason to retire yet, obviously.

(also, anybody read any of his recent books? This is totally LeCarré cold war stuff).
