First time I heard a politician admit being wrong
I see it different. We all act on the information we have at the time. The fault lies with Putin and Russia.
For the record: Until today no m³ gas made it through that pipeline.
NS2 might not have been a brilliant strategic decisions on future energy supply for europe. But the impact on the actual conflict is neglectable.
If only they would have listened to the US, UK, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia etc etc etc. Nothing but arrogance and a sense of superiority is why they didn’t.
Well, we, Eastern Europeans, didn’t… We knew all along that kissing Putin’s ass will not resolve anything… That’s why we did everything it took to get in NATO.
Will Merkel say something, except for the “no UA in NATO was the right thing”? Or perchaps she has already said something?
