  1. We really need clarity of the marijuana issue. Either make it actually illegal or make it legal. No one is benefiting from this middle ground, bury our head in the sand approach where people can walk down the street smoking weed and no one cares, but the police can still use it against you if they need something to stop you.

  2. Cannabis is more risky when it is illegal.

Just get the framework for legalisation going already. It being illegal is stopping no one from using it.

  3. I don’t see the correlation between smell of cannabis and medical Marijuana?

Am I not correct in thinking that prescribed marijuana is only supposed to be taken in a specific way (vapes) and therefore not actually causing that same smell?

Also, if you have a licence on you for something why aren’t you carrying it around with you, just like a driving licence or a firearms licence, what makes medical marijuana users so special they don’t have to do things like the rest of us?

  4. Just to be clear if you are wondering and haven’t read the article, it’s to stop using the smell of cannabis alone as the sole grounds for a stop and search.

  5. Just legalise and tax it for fuck sake. It’s a waste of time and money keeping it illegal.

  6. Why are the police constantly being told not to hold up the law?

A law that is not applied equally to everyone is just a weapon.

  7. Make it illegal to smoke it. I don’t care if you want to enjoy yourself with a nice cookie, that’s on you, but the smoke is revolting and we shouldn’t be forced to smell it every time we exit a train station. Had teens the other week actually smoking it on the train. No repercussions. Awful.

  8. Literally the amount of weed smoked around where I live (not that I touch it) is crazy. Just legalise it already
