  1. Yeah they can fuck off with this they allready sold my medical records to the highest bidder. UK government cannot be trusted with any of your data…

  2. Can’t wait to see the mental gymnastics from the “freedom loving patriots” who believe in “small government” have to go through to defend this [yet another Tory overreach].

I reckon they’ll come at it from the “foreigners” angle.

    Shall we take bets?

  3. Digital ID the new state laws that’s coming soon. Let’s stamp out bullying online and fake news.

Bet it doesn’t work though lol

  4. Don’t worry it’ll be crap, the implementation bungled and it won’t work properly. No doubt it will be touted as world beating.

  5. On April 6, 2022, new digital identity document verification technology (IDVT) that enables data sharing between public bodies and businesses for the purpose of identity verification will be introduced. It will be made available to UK employers, landlords, and letting agents who can use it to digitally carry out pre-employment criminal record checks, right to work checks, and right to rent checks.

You are just a number the be bought and sold. People with no standing in the community will make judgement on how you live your life and where you will live. Imagine being told by Cuntywide you can’t rent because you might have a balloon fetish…..

  6. >The Home Office has also conducted a review of

Ah yes. Priti fucking Patel is involved. She would definately not sell your data to the lowest, mid and highest bidders.

Huh? We literally already have all of this. There’s one run by the Post Office, and by DigiIdentity. CRB and right to work checks are also all available online, you generate a ‘share code’ to give to your employer like you do with your driver’s license.

I genuinely don’t understand what problem they’re trying to solve here.

  8. To be fair, documents are checked remotely nowadays and there’s zero verification that they aren’t faked

  9. This worries me. I have friends who have telling me the past 2 years about Digital ID and the Great Reset. Aparently the World Economic Forum have even wrote a book on it.

  10. It again has to pointed out that this is not about ID it’s about control.

Where it will end up is anyones guess but it is basically the Chinese social credit system. Whether the Conservatives will take it to that stage is unknown.

  11. Hang on, what happened to the data protection act? Is this as well as or instead of? Or is this just the identity card idea rehashed?
