LIVE: Karen Read Murder Trial — MA v. Karen Read — Day Seven

Karen Read is back on trial again after investigators say she drove drunk, hit her Boston cop boyfriend, John O’Keefe, then left him to die in the snow. O’Keefe was found dead outside the home of fellow Boston police officer Brian Albert, in Canton, Massachusetts. In July of 2024, a judge declared a mistrial in her first trial. Read has been charged with second-degree murder, motor vehicle manslaughter, and leaving the scene of a collision causing death.

  3. Jackson hands 227 pages and then expects Jen to read through and says "Take your time"??? WTF Jackson go back to Hollywood, fix your marriage and get away, far away from Karen. Karen has turned her whole team into slush for her.

  5. I’m convinced that the judge just wants a guilty verdict against KR and will worry about the appeals later. Because there’s no way any judge would be this blatantly biased in open court in front of hundreds of thousands of people. She should not be sitting this case!

  6. Blink flurry after deception:
    Some research indicates that after a period of reduced blinking during deception, there may be a surge of blinking, or "blink flurry," as the person relaxes and their focus shifts away from the lie.

  7. Watch the “ Body in the Snow” on Prime. Notice Karen was backing out of John garage, tapped John’s car and DID NOT EVEN REMEMBER DOING IT until the defense got the ring coverage! Even then, still drunk, she couldn’t care less that she tapped his car. Too drinking Karen!

"i wanted to break the "silence" she stops herself before she slips to say "break the "silence" about John's death ☠️ but instead she said "break the news" so she really wanted to stay behind so she can convince everyone about their story.. their lies… 🤔💬

  11. She doesn’t know times, dates, nothing; except, what Karen said and, how chaotic it was. Someone must’ve told her to use that word.

  14. Bev’s huffing and puffing throughout the trial like she’s annoyed and bored is ridiculous. If she’s gonna sigh every time she doesn’t like something, she should mute her mic or move it away. I don’t see many judges I don’t like with all the trials I watch… but this one.. I can’t stand her. She’s biased. I watched the entire first trial and this second trial and its entirety so far as well. I thought maybe she would be a little bit different this go around. I clearly thought wrong. I can even still remember things they said in testimonies from the first trial that are matching up this time.

  22. I don’t understand that if someone sees their friend pull up but then they never come inside, wouldn't that be weird to them? Wouldn't she keep texting him, hey where did you go?
