Can anyone help me learn more about this watch please?

  1. To add context, this was my fathers watch. The only thing i think i know was that it was issues after lithuania got its freedom from the Russian in 1990. This is an important watch to me and any more information about it would be greatly appreciated!

  2. It’s a Vostok watch (made in Russia, still manufactured). It’s a Vostok 420 (model number case).

    Vostok used to make many to-order watches, by printing whatever the client wished on the dial.     My guess is that at time of Lithuanian independence struggle, a batch was ordered with “Lietuva” and sold locally.

    The crown is not original and seems to be replaced later.
