Justice for Scottish Miners

  1. This country has a long tradition of utterly shameful treatment of workers and those striving for better working conditions. You can trace it back to [the reneged promises and murder of Wat Tyler](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peasants%27_Revolt), through [the murder of protestors by a private cavalry militia formed by the landed gentry at Peterloo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peterloo_Massacre), to the banishing to Australia of the [Tolpuddle Martyrs](https://www.britannica.com/event/Tolpuddle-Martyrs) for trying to form a trade union, and countless other brutally violent and morally abhorrent instances of quashing protest, right through to the present day. And yet working people still vote for the shameless, repugnant class who do this.
