The Constitution Protects Everyone, Not Just Citizens

The U.S. Constitution guarantees due process to everyone within its borders — regardless of immigration status — under the 5th and 14th Amendments.

Declaring someone ‘illegal’ without due process violates the Constitution by denying them the chance to defend themselves in court. The law says no one’s freedom can be taken away without a proper legal process.

  1. Why can't people grasp this concept? 99% of the Constitution applies to EVERYONE in the US…the same way the laws do. The ignorant have been convinced that "rights" are only for US citizens, and that's not true on any level.

  2. An illegal alien will continue to be an illegal alien until they are either deported or found to be legal residents. this formality is with each and every single person currently in the USA: 341,679,079 Americans as of 2025. That includes me, you, Trump, everyone you can see irregardless of proof , skin , language, name, age, and public perception

  3. due process. not under obama. not under clinton. not under bush. but due process is a thing now under trump. double talkin democrats. mind you 10s of millions of illegal immigrants were deported no due process.

  4. It's amazing how some of these folks want to paint a narrative instead of dropping facts and allowing plain folks pontificate on those facts.

  5. You all crack me up. If you cross the border illegally youare here illegally..period. Unless you cross at a legal port of entry and claim need, you are here illegally, period.

  6. How would someone that’s not an US citizen be giving US citizen rights? Our rights don’t apply to you!! Because you’re illegally here! This is so easy to understand I don’t know how people are confused about this

  7. Someone’s gotta say to these people, “wow you look a little Mexican, I’m going to call ICE right now to deport you”

    “Well I’m a citizen”

“Well you don’t look like one, do you have your birth certificate on you? No? Ok you’re being deported before you can prove it. “

  8. Is he not understanding logically that first contact was investigated their citizenship and country of origin and immigration/documentation status.

  9. The AMERICAN Constitution was written for AMERICANS by AMERICANS. FOREIGNERS must abide by it, but that does not mean they have EQUAL PRIVILEGES to its citizens. Is every guest in your home suddenly entitled to your bed, food, pension, etc, equal to your wife and kids just because they cross the threshold?? No!! They may get respect or honor as guests, but they ARE NOT family and have no rights to ANYTHING.
