Finna get ready to head back home to the States. Just want to say my family and I have really appreciated the amazing hospitality. The culture…country – all beautiful. Lucky bastards. Will be back soon for sure.

  10. Was just there, myself, and absolutely didn’t want to come home. Especially since home is the U.S. About five times a week now my wife says “Remember Scotland?”

    To be fair, we’d still love Scotland even if our country didn’t totally suck.

  13. Just return. I was there in September and March. I leave Saturday for 26 days. I just can’t get enough of this magical place.

  17. You have to. It’s the only way to really appreciate it when you come back. Otherwise you spend all your time working and don’t get to see enough of it. Looks like you hit all the best places too but there’s still so much more to see so don’t be away long.

  20. My wife and I were just there in Nov/Dec and it was REALLY difficult to go to the airport to come home! We went all over the place…Edinburgh, Stirling, Oban, Dornoch (north of Inverness), Pitlockery, Glasgow…and lots of little towns in between. We loved every second of it…except driving at night in questionable conditions from Dufftown to Pitlockery. I think I left permanent finger impressions on the steering wheel from gripping so tightly!

  25. I don’t blame you, I wouldn’t want to return to the states either. Request asylum maybe they will take pity on you and let you stay in Scotland until after the after the 2028 election
