Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe expressed that while he identifies as a true Canadian, he would not prevent a public vote on the possibility of the province separating from Canada if such a vote were initiated. He emphasized that residents have the right to petition for a plebiscite, as long as it garners support from 15 percent of eligible voters. In contrast, Opposition NDP Leader Carla Beck criticized the notion of a separation vote as irresponsible, suggesting it aligns with U.S. President Donald Trump’s comments about annexing Canada.

3. Alberta and Saskatchewan have been systematically ignored and demonized for decades now. while also being net contributors to the budget. Canada made the mistake of legalizing secession. Now, someone is once again going to try to exploit it.

4. America gonna secure that potash one way or the other. The provinces were always the real goal. The rest of Canada will follow like dominos, or becoming a second world country.
