  1. How does Israel have such a tight grip on the western press and politicians? What dirt do they have on them all

  2. First one “backlash” suggests it wasn’t ok, second one is clearly metaphorical, Johnson was rightly called out and likely lost his job in part due to the third and fourth again metaphorical but arguably still very very poor.

So 1/4 of these is a fair comparison worthy of actually being whataboutery. And like before. It’s wrong for them as it’s wrong for Kneecap. The constant whataboutery just makes it look like a lot of kneecap fans are really struggling to cope with the idea that they should be held accountable.

“Kill your local mp” is a pretty clear statement to shout on its own. It’s pretty fucking wrong and kneecap didn’t help themselves by issuing a bit of a gaslighting apology, although they are highly likely loving the publicity.

  3. Priti Patel thrived on saying nasty shit, I really think she enjoyed being hated.

  4. Jo Brand on throwing battery acid on MP Nigel Farage:

“I’m thinking why bother with a milkshake when you could get some battery acid.”

  5. Wtf even is this argument? The Tories are shit so we get to be just as shit? Fuck that.

Threats against people’s lives are bad whoever does it.

  6. Yes yes but it doesn’t count if its right wing people saying it..

  7. That still haunts me. The rank ignorance of history, but also because ireland is the 2nd most food secure country on earth, and the UK is not number 1.

  8. The characters concerned have their own sub.

Not interested in telling the mods how to moderate. Perhaps the above needs to be guaranteed or restricted for a while.

it risks overtaking the Sub and attracting a legion of bots and trolls from outside jurisdictions with a scorched earth mentality – which doesn’t benefit normal or casual users of the sub actually from the jurisdiction.
