The general behavior and tone of the young people involved is so abhorrent and void of self-reflection that you start to wonder exactly how much of that behavior is a consequence of the environment they grew up in. Both at home and as a member of Reuzegom, lead by older members.
While each of the individuals definitely should see the consequences of their actions, that culture itself and the people who lead to the creation of it should maybe too. And the whole of it paints a very damaging (and, sadly, probably correct) picture of the mentality which reigns in this culture and the ones tangentially related.
