The Duke of Sussex has lost the latest stage of his court battle for his personal security to be provided by the police.

  1. >Sir Geoffrey Vos, the Master of the Rolls says: “I concluded, having studied the detailed documents, **I could not say the duke’s sense of grievance translated into a legal argument for a challenge to Ravec’s decision**.”

    Basically,

    Harry’s grievance ≠ Facts

  2. This man has endless grievances against literally everyone. And the facts never seem to align with his delusions. Will he threaten his family with another book as revenge?

  3. If Harry gives 30 day notice, the Palace will leak his upcoming return to the press, making him and his family less safe.

  4. Will he finally let it go or is he going to try to appeal to a higher court?

  5. I need Charles and his palace sources to keep Archie and Lilibet out their mouths and articles from this day going on.

  6. Harry’s kids and Meghan will never set foot in the UK again with this ruling.

  7. Did Harry ever say why he thought this was some sort of conspiracy against him? Like I remember there was some hearing recently that was part of this trial where he came out and said basically that he’d gotten proof that his family was doing this to him and it was all so shocking… but then I don’t remember anything about what the proof was.

Was any sort of proof actually released? Or does he just think that Charles is messing with him when his dad is trying to stay out of it?

  8. He’ll take this to the ECHR next – you underestimate just how vindictive this man is.

  9. I’m not up on all his silliness but for what it cost for these lawsuits, couldn’t he have paid for the best of the best private security for multiple trips “home”?

What a whiny millionaire baby. I don’t care for his wife either. 🤷‍♀️

  10. Looks to me that he’s very much like his great uncle, the Duke of Windsor: he wants the perks without bearing any of the responsibilities.

  11. I just honestly don’t know what he was expecting. The taxpayer funds royal security, so it’s only given to senior/working royals. He left the working royal family time ago. There was nothing targeted about it.

He’s also rich enough to afford his own security. It’s not hard to find a 6’6″ hunk of muscle that’ll walk behind you.

  12. Let it go dude. You’re rich enough to pay for security and your kids (who are innocent in all of this) don’t even live here. Can’t expect the tax payer to foot the bill. The RF are bad enough, let alone someone who has left it.

  13. I’m seeing lots of people repeat the Sussex talking point “he wants state security because they can carry guns” so I want to put the facts out here:

The court decision says that Harry’s only complaint about his RAVEC security is about paparazzi. But Harry has been told repeatedly that RAVEC security is not intended to protect him from paparazzi. He can (and has) hired private security to handle paparazzi, and obviously this private security doesn’t need guns.

  14. Harry is unwelcome in the UK. Guns and people don’t change that.

  15. I do actually think he should get security. Imagine the national embarrassment if the monarch’s son gets abducted. Also he only needs the security in the first place because of this counties political structure. He never asked to be famous. In the grand scheme of things, the security cost is basically nothing.

  16. Just watched the bbc interview- what he said about the king unbelievable

  17. This case has now lasted longer than Meghan’s stint in the Royal family- the very person Harry claims this case is about.

  18. Good. He shouldn’t get tax funded armed security if he can pay for his own and he’s been assessed and doesn’t need armed security. He should let this lie. The entitlement is just off the scale here.
