Seems like a realistic view of the situation : he made a mistake and because of his position it turned out the be a serious mistake .
Fortunately for the agent it’s only 400 euros. Sad that our justice system turns itself against those who protect it and defend the criminals.
Are the smugglers & parents also sentenced (heavier)? They’re even more responsible for the death of the kiddo.
I wonder if the police are ever trained about how their service weaponry performs? Police pistols (usually 9mm or .40s&w) will go easily go through a car door, especially aluminium ones…
If you ever get shot at, hide behind the engine compartment, the rest of the car provides next to no protection
